That's a beautiful house, stuns. What's the lot size? Sq. footage of the house? Pretty good looking condition house for 125 years, damn.

Midwest is just fine by me. I have a caesars about 5 miles down the road from my house. Churchill downs about 15 miles and all the titty bars one could handle within 15 min of my house. What more could one want when they are married?

High class hookers.
Nice house dude, is it insulated well for the winter? Are the walls made with horse hair plaster? Ill give it to ya, got balls for jumping into a house that old. Looks pretty dope tho.

The insulation will be a big project for next year. The previous owners said that its pretty reasonable heat wise. But with the rise of natural gas might be a mother fucker this year. None the less ill have it as air tight as i can get it this winter and work alot of over time lol

Airtight = humidity problems.

I like those old houses! grats man.. feel sorry for the home theatre installer. does your plumbing freeze in the winter being that it's on the outside of the house?
stunsjoo
09-26-2005, 04:52 AM
Plumbing whats that? Only big issues is there is still some active knob and tube wireing inthe house that will have to be repalced. The motherfucker is going to be striping the outside of the house and repainting. The est. they gave us was 10 grand to have it done.

lmao, that means it sux balls! If they said it was good then it might be reasonable. Always, drop one level from what a previous owner says.
I have a buddy with a house about that old and he is replacing the walls in a lot of rooms and getting some good insulation in (behind pipes etc.) while the wall is open before he puts the new sheetrock up. He does it one wall at a time so its time and cost effective.

With the budget pay system it spreads the amount you use over the entire year instead of fat ass bills in the winter when you use the most natural gas and low bills in the sumer cause the only thing natural gas is used for is heating water you pay one constant bill. Goes the same for the summer and electric. I wont be removeing any walls for insulation due to I like plaster walls and think sheet rock is shitty.
