Quisits/Erin RIP IRL

Quistis aka Erin died last month in a car crash outside of LV,NV. Long story short.. don't drink a drive!!!! I stopped by to let you all know because I saw her the night she passed and she was talking about how there were a few KoT members that lived in Vegas and that she was going to hit them up now that she moved there.

She still thought of you all often and although her and I grew apart long ago and she moved away, when we talked KoT or DAoC almost always came up in the conversation.

I wanted you all to know that she thought of you all till the very end, and regretted the falling out.

Is this real? Jesus. Very sad to hear, falling out or not she was a good girl at heart and I thought of her from time to time as well.

honestly i felt the wind knocked out of me a bit when i read this. Quistis was the only woman that ever filled a leadership roll in this guild, and she filled it well, she was a great girl and will be sorely missed regardless of what happened near the end. I found myself many times trying to contact her but with no luck, its unfortunate she passed on without being able to tip glasses with many of us at a KoT BBQ, and I shall make sure she is remembered next bbq.

Well, if I understand what the poster was saying, she was driving drunk and killed herself. Over and above my feelings for her on a personal level - that fact basically kills any need to be respectful in my opinion. Im just hoping she didnt take any other innocent people with her.

If I interpreted that wrong as she was killed by the drunk driver, its a different story.

Sadly enough I can actually see this being some form of sick joke. I wouldnt put it by them, which is indicative of my feelings for them.

Q always lied on these forums. he/she created a half dozen accounts on these forums, lied often, and tried to propogate hoaxes all the time (the Judas complaints being the most noteworthy but not the only instance). JeFFs account just happens to have been created around the same time as at least 3 of Qs other accounts, and that the IP is the same as all of these other accounts created makes it a HUGE coincidence.

Uh, i've lost several friends myself... 2 to drinking and driving, one to mental breakdown, two were murdered, and one fell off a mountainside. One of those was a longtime friend. One was an ex-girlfriend. Almost all of them were important to me. If this is true (and I think it isnt), condolences to you. If it isnt, and all available evidence suggests it ISNT, then you are the very very sick one. Anyone who truly cares for another person is not going to believe the worst, but will hope for the best... the best being that you're either a lying ass or more likely Quistis herself thinking that playing a trick on his/her old guild might be funny especially since he/she doesnt even come around here anymore, doubley so considering what a trickster he/she turned out to be.

And as I said, I hope and expect that I am correct. I never expected to see Quistis again around here, but just the possiblility that she was actually a hot chick and that she'd return here kept me getting out of bed every single day. If you take that away from me, I HAVE NOTHING LEFT!

I lost a real good buddy to drinking and driving about 10 years ago... Yea it was sad but a big part of me is still pissed that the shithead got himself killed.

And that was a buddy of mine, not some net person with a history of doing stupid shit. Dont lecture me about death, we all got stories. And why single me and Doula out? There have been a couple other more vocal dissenters, makes me wonder.

This is easily resolved with more details, but Im sure the reply will be "you dont deserve them because you are assholes".

Either some of us are wrong and Quistis has passed (drunk driving) which sucks, or we are right and shes more fucked up than we thought - which double sucks. Not much of a win here, but at least if shes lying shes alive I suppose.

Could it be that we are just jaded from things that have happend between KoT you and erin? All we did was ask some simple questions to verify this is all. If you know anything of KoT then you would know that we have always had people fuck with us in many ways in the past and we are not ones to watch the dog and pony show for the sake of watching it.

I'd also like to point out that most normal people in this situation would want to take steps to insure that these people who you're TRYING to update on the life and death of Quistis are truly informed. I have had the unfortunate task of informing people about the demise of a mutual friend, and it is always wise to provide as much information as possible, most noteworthy (especially in this situation) being actual dates, times, and names. Bear in mind please that the person at the center of this topic has tried to fool this guild several times in the past, and so the less gullible among us are not so quick to accept your word, you who have never posted from this forum account to create any sort of believability for yourself at all.

Seriously, if you were truly trying to do a service for your demised friend, you would take steps to assure us that this isnt just a sick joke and is actually real. For me personally, I've never disliked Quistis and I've always felt bad for her inability to fit in here. The more i ponder on this, the more i am convinced that this post is created by the person who played Quistis, and it is meant to be a symbolic gesture, you know like 'i'm never going back to this pseudonym and so for all intents and purposes, Quistis is DEAD'.

Prove me wrong please, and i will both apologize and send flowers to her family. At this point, you're basically inviting RL attacks, because lying about someones death like this is crossing a very serious line. You'd be best off to either come clean, or come with evidence, because your claims are being questioned.
