Doubtful, enterthegame is pretty low population compared to other IRC servers. I would wager that they are on stratics.

Sorry just got a chance to read this thread. No hun, correction I was interested in SB long ago before the dred servers were introduced in DAoC and even before that.. however my current playing time does not permit me to play SB and deal with what is obviously going to be a learning curve plus I was really upset when I bought the game and had to create some sort of web account and give my credit card info ahead of time. In addition I of course have many friends in DAoC... however as my friends begin to leave Bedevere for other servers and other realms and as the guild migrates to the dred server were it belong I am of course faced with the decision of coming to SB and biting the bullet on the learning curve, remaining on Mordred were I am needed but not well known or playing on Bedevere were I yawn a lot at the PvP action and run around as a healer in loot groups occasionally healing people. This of course has sparked my interest in SB as well as SWG. Though.. again my playing time for any game right now is null so it is all a moot point. At the moment I am fighting off people that want me to play SWG and I am interested in trying SB for a weekend.

I will remain in DAoC on Mordred... again for the time being.

I agree that their forums being tied to your game account AND your billing is a little sketchy, but it seems very secure. I haven't heard of ANY accounts being jacked or the like, much like DAOC had the odd time. Then again, SB is still pretty much a baby.

One thing that pisses me off is the account lockout - if you fuck up your password 3 times it locks your account for 15 mins.. That includes fucking up logging into the forums OR the game.. And if you're locked you can't access either one. Oh well, their forums are slow as fuck anyways, yet few servers use the VN boards.

The SB learning curve is actually pretty gentle.. Only thing I spent some time learning was customizing the interface (that might be the biggest reason I'm still playing sb, actually.. the interface is awesome) and figuring out the mathy nerd stuff to build an uber char.

If you're gonna pick it up, try joining us on the test server in the next 2 weeks.. Xp and gold are 5X that of a normal server so you can try lots of different classes fast. And I have a hardcore AFK XP macro to PL people :P
