Rob Nicholson, douche bag conservative, just signed the Extradition of Marc Emery to the American Justice system. He will be transfered back to Canada no doubt, but this is an absolute bullshit display of weak Canadian politics. Marc Emery was the political leader of the BC Marijuana party, and has been sold out by Canada over selling seeds online. Fucking Americans always flexing their muscles toppling any type of figure heads such as Marc Emery who threaten their backwards war-mongering catholic child abusing lifestyle.
Fuck i've had enough of this bullshit. Send a letter to Rob explaining how he's a douche bag and should be crippled for being such a weak justice minister.
And if your Canadian don't ever vote Liberal or Conservative. Take the power away from those bitches.

Well, since you put it that way... Haha. Now, son, don't make daddy angry or we'll put you in time out until you cool down. We don't always beat our children, unless they deserve it.
Heh Heh!

No, the dude sells seeds and some american cops bought some online. Its a complete bullshit charge but because he's a spokesman for the pro-marajuana movement, the american DEA wants to make an example of him.... which is funny as hell considering that there's pot dispensaries popping up all over the states. California is voting to make growing pot legal for everyone regardless of medical condition. Colorado has more liberal pot laws than BC as well as several other pot-friendly states. So any action by the DEA against Marc is just more wasted US taxpayer dollars, i'm pretty sure they've spent a whole lot of money trying to get him sent to the states... YOUR money if you're american. You guys should be more pissed off at this then we are.
He used to live in Victoria and owned my favorite hemp shop, the one I still visit occasionally. I've smoked a few joints with him and listened to him talk; he's a really smart and nice (albeit opinionated and headstrong) guy and this bullshit charge is not deserved.

point being.. this happens to people all the time, they sell shit and get popped. this isnt out of the ordinary, obviously he knew the risk doing it and got caught, he will continue doing so in another means so whats the big deal?

Well it never used to be illegal. He was selling seeds legally for some time; the U.S. laws got changed specifically for what he was doing, and they pounced on him right after.
It's one thing when you know it's illegal + you get caught. It's another to be operating a legit business, and then laws get changed so you can be made an example of.
LOL Oxll, so mad eh?
As you all know, I'am pretty Pro-Pot!! But what Marc Emery did was STUPID! HE was trying to make himself out to be this Marijuana Maytr and it totally back fired on him.
Oxll, have you ever met Marc? He is a nutjob man, just look at his fucken GOOFY interviews he does, the guy should not represent Potheads as a whole as he is trying to be. Also, the guy is a peddy, ever been to his store? SO many underage girls always with him, well that kinda changed when he married that hotty, (whom is only using him for his name/money, JUST LOOK AT HIM)
The only thing that concerns me, which probley none of you know is, the DEA setup shop here in Vancouver just for Marc, the DEA has NEVER done this in any other country, but they did in Vancouver, and they pushed the city to fix their lax marijuana laws. There was a time we had tons of Marijuana cafees setup, but ever since the DEA setup shop all those have been busted for no reason, and those types of places are a positive for us, somewhere safe/clean to go hang out in, not having to smoke in public around people who dont want it around works.
but Marc is an idiot, and totally set us back, dont let the others tell you otherwise, HE SET US BACK in fixing our laws.

Mess with the bull and get the horns. its that simple. selling seeds online to Americans is Illegal. Personally I think the 5 years he is going to receive is too little. I would love to see this guy go to jail 5 yrs per seed he sold. He brags about the 3 million he made online selling weed to people. He is a DOPE dealer its that easy to see. If this guy wants to be a true martyr for pot then he SHOULD be GIVING the seeds away. There is difference between this dealing dope and the punks that have crossed the boarder from Ecuador and is pushing crack on the streets to peoples children which then end up on the downtown eastside whoring themselves out so they can buy their next hit. Not to mention pushing the cost of medical up which then taxes get raised to support our free medical system in turn takes money directly out of my pocket which could have gone to my children instead of supporting some drug addicted loser. I firmly applaud Canadian government and the US government in working together to bring this criminal to justice!
FRY EMERY FRY!
Now with that said I fully support legalizing Pot to a degree so that you are allowed to grow your own for personal use.

US Drug Enforcement Agency opens office in Vancouver.
John Gordon(right): protesting the Drug War.John Gordon(right): protesting the Drug War.The US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has opened an office in Vancouver, Canada, to a chorus of complaints and protests from BC media and activists.
The DEA maintains *78 offices* in *56 countries* around the world?? Mexico tops the list with eight DEA offices. Most western countries have a DEA office in their capital city. Canada is now one of the few western countries with the honor of having two DEA offices.
A US embassy spokesperson told the Vancouver Sun that BC's marijuana industry was the main reason for the Vancouver office. "You place your staff where there's the most business to be done," he said.
An RCMP spokesperson said they welcomed the new DEA office. "We work hand in glove with different US agencies, whether it be the US Border Patrol, DEA, FBI, all of those agencies."
The BC Marijuana Party has sponsored an ongoing series of small protests in front of the US Consulate offices in Vancouver. Candidate John Gordon has been in attendance for many of the protests, and told Cannabis Culture that "there are lots of Americans who come and go from the Consulate. Once I explain that we're not anti-American, many of them say they oppose the DEA and their expansion into Canada."
A January 2001 episode of CBC investigative news program The Fifth Estate showed how the US government had put increased pressure on Canada to crack down on marijuana, including threats to shut down the border by making all Canadians register to cross, which would create massive delays and financial chaos.
Washington state's Attorney General, Christine Gregoire, explained how in 1998 she had summoned BC's Attorney General to her office, along with representatives from the RCMP and Vancouver Police, and given "a very clear encouragement to British Columbia, to enhance its penalties, to enhance its prosecutions, to enhance the time in which it makes those prosecutions, so that they're much more effective."
Also in 1998, Vancouver police had undercover agents from the US navy operating against Hemp BC and the Cannabis Caf?, trying to score pot there. The agents were unsuccessful, but did manage to "simulate" smoking their own weed.
The US Marshals Service also intends on opening a Canadian office

The moral of this story? Drugs are bad, m'kay?
The thread lives on!
Dire - yes i've met emery, other then being a little stoned at the time, he seemed decent on the several occasions I met with him. He is business savy, and intelligent, but yes he has some grand visions which under the Marijuana party name could never happen.
Krypts - Wow dude, why so harsh on the guy. 5 years too little? 5 years is way too much, but we both know he'll be out early as hell since they've accomplished their task of tarnishing the BCMP. Another thing is there are hundreds of sites that sell weed right now. Its unfair to only go after 1 target.
Now regarding DEA, that is some scary stuff you posted man. They fucking are everywhere. Bloody spies in every country. Probably spend more time tapping phone lines for suspicious conversations then actually doing any busting. I'm very anti the war on drugs, I think its a waste of money, effort and lives.
Sagris - Everyone has a drug of choice. The impact of those drugs should be how drugs are considered a threat to someone's health rather then which pharmacy wants which drug to be available for the highest price without competition.
