Its a great documentary if only to get people thinking about these topics. Its pretty slanted and spun though. I recommend reading this wiki (http://conspiracyscience.com/articles/zeitgeist/) alongside the video to help you weed the bullshit from the actual information, because at various parts of the doc (and pretty often), the narrator just makes shit up.

Another good read is http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Industrial_Society_and_Its_Future. Read it before you see who wrote it to relieve yourself of the societies stigma that is on you. Afterwards, look at the author. It's quite impressive how the media and society in general portray and twist things to fit into acceptance. After that, find an article in the above conspiracy website called "The Delphi Technique".

My favorite conspiracy site is Above Top Secret (http://www.abovetopsecret.com). No question that the federal reserve was a way for the rich to get richer and the class system to get reinforced. Canada has something thats similar but not quite as nearly blatantly screwing the little guy.
